Brior is a member of both the Oreland Volunteer Fire Company, where he is the Assistant Chief Engineer, and the Fort Washington Fire Company. Previously, he also volunteered with the Cheltenham Fire Company. Brior works as a mechanic for Upper Dublin Township and has been a member of the United States Naval Reserve for the past eight years.

BTW, some of you may recognize in one of the photos below a fellow Springfield firefighter, Patrick Dolan of Wyndmoor Hose Co. Brior and Patrick, who served in the United States Air Force, crossed paths when both were deployed to Djibouti, Africa. Talk about traveling to the ends of the earth only to meet someone you already know.
