Crash Responder Safety Week, Nov

18-22, is an opportunity for us to encourage drivers to Move Over & Slow Down to protect emergency responders working on our roadways.

The Oreland Volunteer Fire Company just recently installed the HAAS Alert system on our emergency response vehicles. This system sends digital alerts to motorists about upcoming hazards through navigations apps and compatible in-vehicle infotainment systems.

This Crash Responder Safety Week, and every week, please reduce your speed as you approach and travel past active roadway incidents such as a crash, stalled vehicle or roadway debris.
